Rental Terms and Conditions for Kayak, Paddle, and Pedalo Rentals

Rental Conditions

Vessels can only be rented by individuals who are of legal age or minors over 14 years old, under the responsibility of at least one parent or legal guardian.

All minors under 14 must be accompanied by at least one parent or legal guardian.

Vessels will only be provided in exchange for the renter’s identification.

Wearing a life jacket is mandatory throughout the activity.

Payment must be made in full upon the return of the equipment.

In the case of loss, non-return, or damage, the renter will be required to reimburse the equipment according to the unit prices listed below :

La CRIQUE is not responsible in case of improper use of the rented equipment, which could cause damage to the renters or others, and for non-compliance with all instructions stated in these terms and conditions.

The renter and all accompanying persons agree to :

Comply with the rental conditions stated above and the safety regulations provided by La CRIQUE.
Follow the navigation plan, which prohibits crossing the yellow buoy line located 300 meters from the shores of the lake, and not approaching within 50 meters of the reeds.
Respect the fauna and flora, refrain from leaving their watercraft and waste along the route, and avoid entering private properties where access is prohibited.
Certify their ability to swim at least 25 meters and submerge themselves ; confirm that they have no medical contraindications to practicing paddleboarding, kayaking, or pedal boating.
