Climb just steps from the lake!

Discover (or improve) your climbing skills in our friendly space, "Criq'Bloc"!

Bouldering is a short, intense, and very fun form of climbing, practiced on walls 3 to 5 meters high, without ropes, using thick crash pads.

The principle? To solve a short route with starting and finishing holds. Each route is represented by a color that indicates its level of difficulty (from easy to very difficult).

Criq'Bloc :

Criq'Bloc is a 150 m2 climbing gym, designed for all levels and all ages (from 4 years old). The gym consists of a main ground-floor area and a mezzanine, as well as a small warm-up room.

We also offer the option to Seminar and privatization for groups (based on availability).

Additionaly, we propose a birthday package for children, including access to the bouldering gym with climbing shoe rental, a birthday snack, a souvenir photo and an invitation to come back - at a price of €20/child -

Finally, climbing courses are organised during certain school holiday periods, combining climbing and outdoor activities at the Crique site.

Opening period

Criq'bloc is open !

• From November 5 to March 28, 2026 : access to the hall is possible on Wednesdays and weekends from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM by reservation only (minimum 4 people).

• From March 28, 2026 until the All Saints' Day holiday : we are open every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

We are also open on public holidays and every day during school holidays (for Zone A).

Session Duration :

At a bouldering gym, sessions are generally unlimited: once you've paid your entry fee (or with your membership), you can stay as long as you like during opening hours.

Even if the gym doesn't limit you, your body does! :) We recommend:

- Beginner: 1 to 1.5 hours (enough time to explore without getting too tired)

- Intermediate: 1.5 to 2 hours

- Advanced: 2 hours or more (often including a full warm-up and specific training).

Additional Highlights :

On-site, we offer climbing essentials for sale (chalk, socks, etc.), as well as organic and local snacks and drinks at the climbing room office.

During the summer period :

Just 30 meters away, you can enjoy Crique Beach, where you can rent boats (paddle boards, pedal boats, kayaks) or participate in various events.

Opposite the beach, discover Criq'Parc, an adventure park in the trees for children aged 3 to 12, complete with an eco-snack bar offering refreshments (from 10 AM to 7 PM).

In July and August, visit the Annecy Aventure point of sale to book outdoor activities around Lake Annecy, available all year round.
